Projeto “ARTE COM CIÊNCIA” is a project organized by IPTI - Instituto de Pesquisas em Tecnologia e Inovação (Institute for Research  in Technology and Innovation), sponsored by FINEP, which aims at promoting art+science education in high schools located in very poor communities in the State of Sergipe (Northeast of Brazil).

ACM SIGGRAPH successfully kicked off its first SIGGRAPH Asia conference in Singapore during December 10th to 13th 2008. The official report showed that more than 3200 attended and 49 countries were involved in this creatively inspired conference. About 80 percent of the attendance came from Asia-Pacific countries, including Australia and New Zealand.

We have had several joint activities with Eurographics, the European computer graphics association.

Call for entries for [Aniwow!2008] 3rd China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival which will be held from Oct, 22nd 2008 to Oct, 25th 2008.

Edutainment 2007 is the 2nd International Conference on E-learning and Games. It is an international forum for researchers to share the developments and applications for e-learning and digital entertainment systems. Edutainment 2007 will be held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong on June 11-13, 2007. The conference will include plenary invited talks, workshops, tutorials, paper presentation tracks, and panel discussions.
