Call for Participation - SpaceTime Student Competition 2010
ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee invites students to submit their work for The 2010 SpaceTime student competition. The international juried exhibition is open to students who are currently enrolled in school/university, or graduated within the last one year. Interested students can submit up to three works in categories of Prints, Animation and Interactive Works, to be judged by an international panel of jurors. Students in K-12 can submit works in the Prints category. Selected works will be exhibited during the annual SIGGRAPH conference in Los Angeles, CA

The SpaceTime Student Exhibition and Competition Opened Today
The education committee celebrated the SpaceTime student exhibition on Monday, August 3, 2009 with an opening and awards ceremony. Along with the formal opening, the students who won awards were honored with certificates and applause. The committee also presented our virtual gallery in Second Life. We urge all those to visit the gallery, especially those who were unable to attend the physical gallery.
Teaching Computer Graphics in Context - CGE 09 Workshop report
The Computer Graphics Education Workshop 2009 workshop was organized to explore ideas in computer graphics education with a focus on teaching computer graphics in context. While previous workshops have focused on designing the computer graphics curriculum, this workshop recognized the importance of designing the students' learning experience within the curriculum.

SIGGRAPH Asia 2008: A Platform for CG Educators Sharing Ideas
ACM SIGGRAPH successfully kicked off its first SIGGRAPH Asia conference in Singapore during December 10th to 13th 2008. The official report showed that more than 3200 attended and 49 countries were involved in this creatively inspired conference. About 80 percent of the attendance came from Asia-Pacific countries, including Australia and New Zealand.
