Each year, the Education Committee conducts a SpaceTime Student Competition. The result of this competition is the SpaceTime Student Exhibition, featured each year at the SIGGRAPH conference. For SIGGRAPH 2009, the exhibition will be shown in its own SpaceTime Student Gallery.

The SpaceTime Animation Curator will promote the call for submissions, help design the animation portion of the exhibition, oversee the jurying of the submitted animations, and help gather materials for the catalog and for the exhibition. This person will also put together the final animation reel and maintain a database of exhibiting artists and communicate with them to ensure the successful exhibition of their work.

The Animation Curator position is part of the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee, and serves under the Education Committee Chair.
