Influence of the Illuminant on the Color Perception This slide shows the influence of the illumination to color perception. The upper row shows typical spectral energy distribution curves of daylight and three standard illuminants A, C, and D65. In the center of the second row the eye response function is shown. The bottom row shows the respective products of the illuminants with the eye response functions.
