CIE xy Diagram The CIE xy diagram shows the well known shoesole diagram based on the CIE XYZ of 1937. The curved border shows the loci of the spectral colors. The colored triangle shows the color loci of a typical monitor with specified red, green, and blue phosphors and the resulting white point.
