ACM SIGGRAPH Education Index

by WebSysAdmin last modified 2007-08-12 14:27

A directory of academic programs in computer graphics and digital arts.

education_index_logo.png The ACM SIGGRAPH Education Index strives to be a comprehensive online interactive database of academic programs that offer computer graphics and/or digital arts curricula. The Index can be a valuable resource for students researching schools, for educators seeking to connect with other educators, and for professionals who want to broaden their skills.

Through a research effort by the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee during 2006/2007, over 400 college programs were identified and entered into the database to form its foundation.

Beginning with the SIGGRAPH 2007 conference, the data entry component of the Index is available (here) to enable anyone to create a new record in the Index, and to enter program data and contact information. Please note that this data will not be immediately available for public access and search. Some time in Fall 2007, we plan to launch a fully functional version of the Education Index, with a searchable interface.
