Contour Tracking/Connecting

Contour Connecting is an object-ordered Surface Fitting method. Given a threshold value, a closed contour is traced for each data slice and then the contours in adjacent slices are connected and a tesselation, usually of triangles, is performed.

Here is an example of a contoured head that is then tesselated.
