EDXR 2019: Education and Extended Reality Meeting and Workshop

EDXR 2019 is a meeting/workshop on Education and Extended Reality. EDXR 2019 addresses current topics in teaching XR application and content development, including how educators are approaching XR development, best practices, guiding student XR projects, XR curriculum and class development, actual techniques, and the future direction of this field. The meeting features a talk by the pioneer of this field, Dr. Jacki Morie, discussions and hands-on workshop on VR techniques.

SIGGRAPH 2019 is open for submissions. Submit to the Educator’s Forum through the general submission process, or submit a Groovy Graphics Assignment.

XR and education meeting in Tokyo

The ED-EX preparation group is holding a meeting and discussion, co-located with VRCAI and SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 Tokyo this December. Support for this meeting is provided by the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee. We hope that educators, administrators, and researchers who teach and/or develop curricula for XR related subjects will be able to join this meeting.

Call for Eurographics 2018 EDUCATION Papers

The 39th Eurographics conference will be held on April 16-20, 2018 in Delft, The Netherlands. The conference is organized by the Eurographics Association covering the wide field of Computer Graphics. Part of the conference is a track on Computer Graphics Education.
Submission deadline for education papers is 23:59 UTC/GMT, Friday, January 12, 2018.

Call for Eurographics 2016 Education Papers

Eurographics is seeking original contributions for presentation and publication in the EG 2016 education track. The scope of the track includes topics in education in computer graphics, computer graphics in education, effective teaching tips and techniques focusing on computer graphics course content, and outstanding student projects in computer graphics. Authors are invited to submit papers, panels and student projects.
