Space-Time Student Competition 1999
With over 250 poster entries this year for the 1999 SIGGRAPH Student
Poster and Animation Competition and Exhibition the jury was intense.
As in every year, there is a lot of fine work to consider for this show
that exhibits onsite at the annual SIGGRAPH Conference, and then for the following year around the
country and around the world. This year the posters chosen were simply
outstanding. The quality of work that has been submitted has
dramatically increased in the past years, and every wo
rk chosen this year reflects a level of professionalism and design
expertise that makes me proud to exhibit it. The show will exhibit at
the annual SIGGRAPH Conference in Los Angeles from August 8th - the
13th. It will then tour nationally and internationally for just over a year. The show will also be included on the
conference Educator's
CD-ROM, conference proceedings CD-ROM, and the SIGGRAPH Education
Committee Website at http://www.education.siggraph.org
